However there are exceptions, and unless you buy the toilet seat and toilet pan from the same manufacturer there is no guarantee that a replacement seat will fit. Some distinctively shaped toilets require a toilet seat specifically designed to fit that one style of pan, this is esecially important with some of the square designs available. Very cheap toilet seats should be avoided as they tend not to last very long so end up proving to be poor value for money - a good seat will cost a little more but should last for years. |
