Sliding Shower Screen

There are several different designs of sliding shower screen providing varying levels of overbath shower protection with the primary function of keeping spray from the shower inside the bath and off the bathroom floor.

Some sliding shower screens are fitted to the wall at one end via a wall post. The first panel is attached to the wall post (sometimes via a pivot or hinge) and the second panel runs on a telescopic rail attached to the first. The second screen pulls past the first to increase the size of the showering area.

There also sliding shower screens that are designed for use with a bath in an alcove situation i.e. there is a solid wall at either end of the bath. There are usually three panels which can closed to effectively turn the bath into a shower cubicle. This type of screen is ideal for use with a power shower as the bath is completely enclosed.
